117 students were enrolled for pre-kindergarten in Botetourt County schools in 2023-24 school year

There were 117 pre-kindergarten students enrolled in Botetourt County schools in the 2023-24 school year, 13.6% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

The school that enrolled the largest number of pre-kindergarten students in the county was Buchanan Elementary School.

Within Botetourt County schools, the largest number of students were found in 9th-grade, while pre-kindergarten had the least students.
