There were 9,930 white students enrolled in Roanoke County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 2.1% less than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Roanoke County Public Schools District welcomed 13,803 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, white students comprised 71.9% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the school.

Among the 26 schools in Roanoke County Public Schools District, William Byrd High School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2023-24 school year.
