Mateo Villalobos gave up an early takedown at 174 pounds, but rallied with a 12-4 run to close with a 12-6 win over Tyson Hoopes to make it a 8-4 team score in favor of the Panthers. The Knights won by fall at 184 to claim a short-lived 10-8 edge, but Ferrum stormed the castle with five straight wins and put the match out of reach.
