Men's Highlights:

  • In the 60m, Brady Fowler qualified through two rounds and finish sixth in the finals with a time of 6.96.
  • Hunter Bohon made it through the prelims in the 60m hurdles and finished eighth in the finals with a time of 9.14.
  • In the 200m, Samuel Crawford finished fourth with a time of 22.39 while Fowler was sixth with a time of 22.54.
  •  The 500m saw three Maroon freshmen finish in the top 10 with Brandon Heffinger (1:10.32), Jonah Hamman (1:13.56), and Andrew Estes (1:15.98) finishing second, sixth, and ninth, respectively.
  • Sean Toliver (6th) and Xavier Chlebowski (7th) were separated by 0.04 in the 1000m as they finished with times of 2:48.57 and 2:48.61, respectively.
  • A new school record was set in the 3000m with Cooper Neeble crossed the finish line in a time of 8:36.61 to finish fifth. He broke the record of 8:37.35 previously set by Harrison Toney in 2015.
  • In the high jump, Cody Roupe finished 10th with a jump of 1.85m.
  • Dominic McCombs was a top-10 finisher for Roanoke in the pole vault with a height of 3.75m
  • Joseph Kenney was eighth in the triple jump with a distance of 12.43m.
  • The team of Andrew Gregorits, RJ Birdsall, Daniel Jewell, and Franklin Reid was fourth in the 4000m distance medley in a time of 11:41.20. The second relay team of Joshua Woodley, Cameron Ballinger, Chlebowski, and Jacob Greenstein was fifth with a time of 11:43.77.
  • The 4x400 relay team of Bohon, Heffinger, Fowler, and Crawford won the event with a time of 3:27.58, nearly 3.5 seconds ahead of second place Bridgewater.
Up Next: Roanoke will hit the road for the first time this season when they travel to the Steamer Showcase at Wittenberg in Ohio on Saturday, January 28.
