Regular Season Finale in High Point
The Hollins cross country team traveled to High Point for their final meet of the 2022 regular season on Friday afternoon. The Green and Gold competed over the 6K course in the VertCross Invitational, hosted by High Point University. Hollins would finish ninth as one of only three DIII schools in the mainly DI, nine team field.
Highlights & Notes
- Sylvia Guillet was once again the highest finisher, third consecutive 6K race, when she crossed the finish line in 27:23.5. The first-year runner was 57th in the field of 75 runners.
- Addy Silberhorn would be the first of five consecutive Hollins runners. Silberhorn completed teh course in a time of 29:03.9. Madison Brousseau was next in 29:23.1 followed closely by Jenna Johnston (29:24.0).
- Dawn Forrest rounded out the scoring for Hollins with a time of 29:54.2, just over a minute clear of Harper Dillon.
