The City of Salem would like to thank the Employee Committee at our neighborhood Lowe’s Home Improvement store for their quality work at the Salem Rotary Dog Park. The store donated over $2,000 worth of materials and the employees donated their valuable time to make several improvements to the park. The employees spent several days at the Dog Park assisting with general maintenance items like scraping and painting. Their biggest contribution was the construction of the shaded bench areas that can be found throughout the Dog Park. These have been a big hit with dog owners in both sunny and rainy conditions.
