THE BASICS

It was the Knights finding the advantage early, as Makya Lindgren took a Makinna Winterton delivery and put it in the back of the net in the 7th minute.

The Panthers would wait until the second half to find the equalizer, as Jamie Adams netted her second goal of the season in the 60th minute and things were all square until the final whistle.

Southern Virignia peppered seven shots in the two extra time periods, but Abbey Hayes answered the call and kept the Knights out of the net to see the point through for Ferrum.
