Botetourt County schools welcomed 346 7th-grade students in 2023-24 school year

There were 346 7th-grade students enrolled in Botetourt County schools in the 2023-24 school year, the same number from the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

The school that enrolled the largest number of 7th-grade students in the county was Read Mountain Middle School.

Within Botetourt County schools, the largest number of students were found in 9th-grade, while pre-kindergarten had the least students.

Statewide, Botetourt County ranked 56th in enrollment numbers. It was ranked 55th the year before.
