Enrollment Analysis: Multiracial students comprised 0.4% of Craig County Public Schools District's student body in 2023-24 school year

There were two multiracial students enrolled in Craig County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Craig County Public Schools District welcomed 470 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 0.4% of the student body to be the third most represented ethnicity in the school.

Craig County Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Craig County and has a main office in New Castle.

Craig County High School was the only school in the district which enrolled multiracial students, welcoming two in the 2023-24 school year.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools have an average student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1, slightly better than the national average of 15:1. Minority students, primarily Hispanic and Black, make up 54% of the enrollment, while white students constitute 46%.
