There were 455 Hispanic students enrolled in Salem City Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 30% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Salem City Public Schools District welcomed 4,318 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 10.5% of the student body to be the third most represented ethnicity in the school.

Salem City Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Salem City and has a main office in Salem.

Among the seven schools in Salem City Public Schools District, Salem High School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2023-24 school year.
