There were 16 Hawaiian students enrolled in Roanoke City Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 15.8% less than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Roanoke City Public Schools District welcomed 13,709 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, Hawaiian students comprised 0.1% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the school.
