There were 92 Black students enrolled in Botetourt County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 9.5% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Botetourt County Public Schools District welcomed 4,488 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, Black students comprised 2% of the student body to be the fourth most represented ethnicity in the school.
