64 percent of applicants to Hollins University were admitted for fall 2018

At Hollins University, 94 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 100 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Roanoke enrolled 805 students in fall 2018, including 676 in undergraduate and 129 in graduate programs, data shows. 3.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

41 percent of undergraduates are residents of Virginia, and 47 percent are residents of other states. 9 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (63 percent) and Black or African American (10 percent).

The school admitted 64 percent of the 3,667 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 8 percent enrolled.
