PARK Roanoke currently has three elevators out of service.

  •  The Market Garage elevator on the Church Ave side has been down for a few weeks.   The elevator vendor has been troubleshooting during this time and found several issues.  The most recent issue is a hydraulic oil leak due to deterioration of the packing.   New packing has been ordered and should be delivered and installed mid to late week of June 12th.
  • The single elevator at Church Ave Garage has had intermittent issues for a week, and the elevator vendor again through troubleshooting has discovered the selector tape which informs the elevator when to start and stop needs to be replaced.   The part has been ordered, however, there is a significant lead time, and the elevator is expected to be down until the week of June 26th.
  • The elevator at Elmwood Park Garage has a damaged door sensor.   This issue is new, so an exact ETA for repair has not been provided by the elevator vendor.
We apologize for these issues and are working diligently with the City's Purchasing Department and Otis Elevator to rectify them as soon as possible.
