There's a current construction project to rehab the Route 11
There's a current construction project to rehab the Route 11 Bridge in the Town of Buchanan in Botetourt County. Since most of the work is being done under the bridge, the Swinging Bridge has been helping out and Water Street is currently closed for the duration of the project. Drivers should expect a work zone on the bridge itself with periodic lane closures and flagging operations during daytime hours. Completion scheduled for summer 2023.
