Hollins Picked 13th in ODAC Preseason Poll

The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced their 2022 Women's Soccer Preseason Poll on Thursday afternoon. Hollins was picked 13th in the 14-team league as voted on by the conference coaches. 

The Green and Gold will kick off the season under second-year head coach Kat Van Orden with a pair of home matches. Friday, September 9th will see the debut of a new 24-player roster as they defend Berkley Field against Trinity (Washington). The very next day will be a season opening, back-to-back, when Hollins faces Agnes Scott. A third home match to start the 2022 campaign against William Peace is on the schedule before Hollins kicks off ODAC play with a trip to arch rival Sweet Briar on Saturday the 24th. 

October will get started with a visit from the ODAC's newest member, Averett, before Hollins hits the road against Washington and Lee before coming home to face Guilford. The season will wrap up in late October with a short trip to Salem to face Roanoke College before closing out a 13-match regular season schedule at home against Eastern Mennonite on the 29th.
