The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) has announced the women's soccer preseason poll and Ferrum College has been picked to finish ninth this year.
Virginia Wesleyan University has been picked to finish first in the league after receiving 161 points, with eight first-place votes. Bridgewater College are slated to finish in second with 150 points, three first-place votes. The University of Lynchburg is picked to finish third, after receiving 148 points and two first-place votes.

The Panthers open their season on the road against Mary Baldwin University, September 1, 4:30 p.m. at SMA Worth Field. ODAC play begins September 24, 1 p.m. at Bridgewater College.
