Salem Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Annual Meeting and Economic Outlook Update

A member favorite and a sell-out!  Join us for our 2022 Annual Meeting and Economic Outlook Update.

The Salem-Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce is hosting our 89th Annual Meeting on January 26, 2022 from 7:30-9:30 a.m. at Roanoke College. The meeting includes an Economic Outlook Update from representatives of Visit Virginia's Blue Ridge, City of Salem and Roanoke County Economic Development departments, the Town of Vinton, and the Roanoke Regional Partnership.

The moderated panel includes the following community leaders:

  • Jill Loope, Roanoke County
  • Richard “Pete” Peters, Town of Vinton
  • Wayne Adkins, City of Salem
  • John Hull, Roanoke Regional Partnership
  • Catherine Fox, Visit Virginia’s Blue Ridge
We are also excited to share the growth and success of our Chamber and sincerely hope you will join us. Registration is REQUIRED by 1/20/22.

You will also have an opportunity to submit questions during the discussion.

COVID Precautions:

Attendees must complete a COVID assessment, including having your temperature taken upon entering the event.

Masks must be worn at all times when not eating or drinking.

If COVID infection rates increase, the state, or Roanoke College dictates that we need to move this to a virtual event. All attendees will receive a $15 gift card to purchase a meal at a local restaurant.
