Roanoke College Athletics issued the following announcement on Jan. 4
For the second time this basketball season, Roanoke College junior Kasey Draper was named to the D3hoops.com National Team of the Week.
Draper had a pair of double-doubles as Roanoke beat Covenant and Buena Vista at the Cregger Classic. He averaged 23 points and 10 rebounds over four games in the holiday period, shooting 52% from the field and 50% on three pointers. His 30 points vs. Covenant was just one point shy of a career high. It marked the second time this season that the Raonoke native earned a spot on the national team.
Yesterday, the guard/forward was named Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Player of the Week, once again for the second time during the 2021-22 campaign. Kasey is currently averaging 21.3 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.
