Hollins University Athletics issued the following announcement on Nov. 5
The Lead: All seven Hollins runners set personal best 4k times at the Hokie Open Friday afternoon at the Buford Meredith Course in Blacksburg, Va.
Highlights & Notes
- Harper Dillon's time of 19:03.07 was a personal-best, ranks 8th best all-time in the HU 4k record book and was good for 16th overall in a field of runners from Division I Virginia Tech and Southern Virginia which is ranked No. 8 in the latest NCAA Division III South Region rankings.
- Samantha Stuhlmiller's time of 19:18.5 was a personal best for her and ranks as the 10th-best time in school history, while Jenna Johnston crossed the finish line in a time of 19:22.9 which puts her 11th all-time.
- Samantha Coy (20:41.1) and Krishna Agrawal (20:45.6) logged personal best times and now rank 14th and 16th, respectively in the 4k record book.
- Alexandria Matter finished with a time of 22:15.2 which was a personal best and Gabrielle Wilson posted a personal best time of 23:39.6.
