The Lead: The Hollins University Swimming team opened up its 2021-22 season when it met its other Old Dominion Athletic Conference foes in Lexington, Va. For the 2021 ODAC Relays hosted by Washington and Lee University.
Highlights
- Hollins finsihed in eigth-place in a field off 11 swimming programs from the ODAC and the area.
- Hollins entered nine swimmers in the meet and for eight of them it was their first ODAC Relay meet.
- First-Year Cordelia Burks started out the meet strong for the Green & Gold leading out the first relay leg of the 3x50 Fly Relay in a time of 29.8. The relay finished 15th overall.
Up Next: Hollins is off until Nov. 5 when it will take part in the Guilford Invitational at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
