Alpaca Farm Days-10th Annual Event at Smith Mountain Lake Farm!
Event: 11-5 Saturday September 29th, 11-5 Sunday September 30th
Workshops on the hour: Guided, educational, interactive tours on the hour: Learn, feed, and hug the alpacas!
Spinning demos, learn to card, spin, and dye alpaca fiber and yarn, learn about alpaca textiles, alpaca ownership, and more. Free photos with the Alpacas, bring your cameras!
Alpacas are the most expensive lifestock and the most sought-after in the world, but very rare. Learn why,and how these sweet creatures are bringing back the textile industry to America at one of the top farms in the nation. Farm Store and products will be available.
