On Saturday, April 5, former William Byrd High School standout Bri Hodges’ current college team, the Lynchburg Hornets, won 6-1 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Averett Cougars.
The game took place at Cougar Field. This was their second matchup against the Cougars this season.
The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9 at 2:30 p.m. at Aubrey R. Moon Jr. Field against Randolph Wildcats.
