Nolan Medley, a freshman and former Lord Botetourt High School standout, saw his Lenoir-Rhyne Bears fall 14-9 in an NCAA Division II contest to the Belmont Abbey Crusaders on Tuesday, March 17, at 5 p.m.

The contest, played at Abbey Yard, marked the first meeting between the two teams this season.

Medley gave up one earned run in 0.1 innings of work.

Lenoir-Rhyne is set to take on Barton Bulldogs next at Nixon Field on Tuesday, March 24, at 3 p.m.
