On Tuesday, March 25, former Lord Botetourt High School standout Meredith Wells’ current college team, the Elon Phoenix, won 8-7 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the East Carolina Pirates.
The game took place at Hunt Softball Park. This was their first matchup against the Pirates this season.
The Phoenix’s next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 5 p.m. at Delaware Softball Diamond against Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens.
