On Sunday, April 6, former Lord Botetourt High School standout Meredith Wells’ current college team, the Elon Phoenix, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the College of Charleston Cougars.
The game took place at Hunt Softball Park. This was their third matchup against the Cougars this season.
The Phoenix’s next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 3 p.m. at Drexel Softball Field against Drexel Dragons.
