On Friday, March 28, former Lord Botetourt High School standout Meredith Wells’ current college team, the Elon Phoenix, lost 9-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens.

The game took place at Delaware Softball Diamond. This was their first matchup against the Fightin’ Blue Hens this season.

The Phoenix’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 3 p.m. at Delaware Softball Diamond against Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens.
