On August 6, 2025, Suetterlein commented on National Night Out celebrations across several communities. He expressed appreciation for law enforcement agencies by posting, “Beautiful evening for National Night Out in Christiansburg, Roanoke City, Salem, and Vinton. Thank you to our local law enforcement agencies for special celebrations tonight and for their hard work for safer communities 365 days a year!”

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.
