On Sunday, March 30, former William Byrd High School standout Abigail Fitzgerald’s current college team, the Eastern Mennonite Royals, lost 7-1 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Ferrum Panthers.
The game took place at Vickie Van Kleeck Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Panthers this season.
The Royals’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 2 at 3 p.m. at Gehman Field against Bridgewater Eagles.
