On Sunday, April 13, former William Byrd High School standout Abigail Fitzgerald’s current college team, the Eastern Mennonite Royals, lost 14-2 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Averett Cougars.
The game took place at Gehman Field. This was their second matchup against the Cougars this season.
The Royals’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16 at 3 p.m. at Jim Barnett Park against Shenandoah Hornets.
